What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is 3:00 PM and check-out is 10:30 AM. We'll text you the day before check-in with essential arrival details — please let us know your planned check-in time. Before checking out, wash and put away used dishes, take indoor and outdoor trash to the dumpster, and empty firepit ashes into the metal bucket provided. Then just text us at (402) 867-1080 when you've left your cabin.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Cancel at least 30 days before check-in for a full refund. Cancellations 14–30 days before check-in receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 14 days of check-in are non-refundable, and no-shows forfeit 100% of the booking. We recommend travel insurance for extra coverage in case of unexpected changes.
What is your payment policy?
100% of payment is due at booking. You must be 21 or older to rent a glamping cabin.
Is there a minimum stay?
No — at this time we don't have a minimum stay requirement.
Are dogs or other pets allowed?
While everyone at Ashland Glamping is a dog lover, we do not allow dogs (or cats) on the glampgrounds or in the glamping units.
Is there WiFi?
We encourage all our guests to unplug during their visit and reconnect with each other, so we don't offer WiFi in the glamping cabins. There is clear cell signal with Verizon.
Is there heating and A/C?
Yes — every unit is climate-controlled with A/C and heat, so you're comfortable in every season: cool and breezy in summer, warm and cozy in winter.
What is the bathroom situation?
Each glamping unit has a full private bathroom with a walk-in shower and hot water. Soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and towels are all provided.
What's provided and what should I bring?
Every site includes bath towels, toilet paper, soap and shampoo, bed sheets and blankets, a Keurig, microwave, cookware and dishes, a gas propane grill with cooking utensils, and a smokeless outdoor fire pit. Bring your own food and drinks (all units have fridges with freezers), bug spray and sunscreen, walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothes, beach towels for the lake and hot tub, personal toiletries, and a flashlight for getting around after dark.
Will there be bugs or wildlife?
Of course! You can expect to see bugs and wildlife throughout your visit — it's part of what makes 63 acres of Nebraska countryside special.
What's the difference between glamping and camping?
Ditch the pop-up tent and sleeping bag — our units have electricity, running hot water, real beds, A/C and heating, and private bathrooms. That said, we want you to arrive with accurate expectations: Ashland Glamping is not a luxury hotel. There's no concierge or food service, and you may encounter bugs or wildlife. We're happy to answer any questions before you book.
Are there things to do on the property?
Let the adventures begin — fishing, kayaking, swimming, hiking, and more, all on site. The stocked lake, winding creek, and trails are yours to explore.
What are the firepit policies?
Each site has a smokeless dual-function outdoor fire pit, perfect for s'mores or hot dogs. You can purchase a firewood bundle when you book or at check-in — plan ahead, since firewood isn't available after 8:00 PM. Outside firewood is not permitted.
Is smoking or vaping allowed?
Smoking is prohibited everywhere on the property — including marijuana, cigarettes, and cigars. If we smell smoke in your unit at departure there's a $250 fine. E-cigarettes and vapes are allowed, but only outside the glamping units.
Is there a noise curfew?
Quiet hours are 10 PM to 7 AM. Visiting guests who aren't staying overnight must leave by curfew. If neighboring glampers are disrupting your stay, call us any time — we're available 24/7.
How far is it from Omaha and Lincoln?
Roughly 30–40 minutes from each — close enough for an easy getaway, far enough to feel away from it all.
How do I get there?
From I-80, take Exit 426 for NE-66 toward Ashland/Gretna. Merge onto NE-66 East / East 12th Street and continue about 2 miles, then turn right onto E. Park Hwy / NE-66 for roughly 7 miles. Look for the big white barn and turn into the drive at 30199 E. Park Hwy, Ashland, NE 68003.
Do I need a car to get around?
Everything on the glampgrounds is within walking distance, but you'll want a car for local attractions — Ubers and taxis aren't available out here. Local trails, parks, and restaurants are a short bike ride away.
Which units are best for families or groups?
The creek, trails, and stocked lake are favorites with kids. Our roomiest unit sleeps 14 — check the accommodations page for details on each unit, or reach out and we'll match your group to the right stay.
